Exclusive to this collaboration with The Met, The Year of The Rabbit Celebration Chili Oil is infused with mala Sichuan peppercorn, red turmeric, hyssop thyme, and laurel bay leaf. This chili oil possesses a floral, slightly toasted, deeply fragrant flavor so rich in umami you’ll want to savor a spoonful on its own. The iconic Original Junzi Chili Oil is made with single-origin Tianjin chili peppers. It’s intensely bright and refreshing, a great complement to black vinegar for a perfect dipping sauce.

Depicting a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) silk embroidery, now on view at The Met Museum on Fifth Avenue as a part of the Lunar New Year exhibition, the gift box tells a story of longing for harmony and unity: a white rabbit stopping to contemplate a dreamlike landscape with colorful rocks, bamboo, pine, rishi mushrooms, and wildflowers, gazing at the full moon adorned with constellations and golden clouds.
